Biopsy – Disposable Biopsy Devices
BIP-HistoCore® HC-T
Disposable biopsy system with optimized trocar tip (BIP-Wing-Tip-Trocar) and echogenic zone
BIP-HISTOCORE® HC-T – Sterile biopsy device for histological removal of soft tissue.
The advantages are the same as those of the BIP-HistoCore® HC.
Trocar Tip: The optimized trocar tip (BIP-Wing-Tip-Trocar) facilitates tissue penetration and significantly increases target accuracy while maintaining tissue sample quality. The best results are achieved when using the semi-automatic mode.
Echogenic Zone: The echogenic zone ensures excellent visibility of the needle.

BIP-HISTOCORE® HC-TX
Disposable biopsy system with optimized trocar tip (BIP-Wing-Tip-Trocar) and echogenic zone, including coaxial needle
The advantages are the same as those of the BIP-HistoCore®
HC and BIP-HistoCore® HC-T. The coaxial cannula is pre-installed in the BIP-HistoCore® HC-TX model.
Single-step technique:
The coaxial cannula and biopsy needle are positioned simultaneously (in a single step) in the tissues, eliminating the need for separate positioning of the coaxial cannula.

BIP-EVOCORE® EC2215
Reusable Biopsy Device for Histological Tissue Sampling
This fourth-generation biopsy device for histological tissue sampling is the result of the latest technological developments from the BIP Development Center – Manufactured in Germany.
- It is the world’s first semi-automatic and fully automatic biopsy device.
- Made with high-quality materials.
- Sterilizable.
Some of its advantages:
BIP-EVOCORE® EC2215
Reusable Biopsy Device for Histological Tissue Sampling
Advantages:
- One-Handed Operation: The lever can be easily cocked with one hand, allowing the device to be used with just one hand. The cocked position enables tissue window opening and sample retrieval without removing the needle from the device. The other hand can remain free for tasks such as manipulating an ultrasound transducer.
- Fully Automatic or Semi-Automatic Mode Selection: The BIP-EvoCore® EC2215 is the first and only reusable biopsy device offering both fully automatic and semi-automatic modes. In fully automatic mode, the stylet first fires forward (15 or 22 mm, depending on the set penetration depth), followed approximately 30 ms later by the outer cannula, which captures the tissue core. The semi-automatic mode allows for precision adjustment of the tissue notch using ultrasound and can actively press additional tissue into the notch. Studies show that the semi-automatic mode can recover up to 20% more tissue material, depending on the tissue type.
- Non-Forward Projection Tissue Retrieval: For challenging biopsy areas like lymph nodes with blood vessels behind them, tissue can be collected without firing the internal needle using the semi-automatic mode. Only the second cut of the intersection cannula is activated, providing enhanced safety.
- Innovative Clip Cap: An innovative clip cap prevents accidental opening during the biopsy procedure. The cap automatically opens with a button press.
- Automatic Safety Feature: An integrated safety bar ensures maximum safety and eliminates the need for manual unlocking of the device.
- New Biopsy Needle: The EvoCore® biopsy needle introducer facilitates loading and ensures secure attachment to the EvoCore® biopsy device.
- Hygiene/Safety: The unique needle guard prevents potential contamination between the device and the biopsy cannula, ensuring that it does not come into contact with the casing.
Patented Needle Protection
The protective tube remains on the needle, eliminating the risk of injury during needle loading.
Optimized Needle Alignment
Provides better protection against blood entry into the device.
Enhanced Acoustic Insulation
Results in a quieter operation.
Convenient Cocking Mechanism
Easier to handle.
Ideal Sterilization
Achieved through the use of new, more durable materials.
Adjustable Penetration Depth (15/22mm)
While the default penetration depth of 22 mm is preferred for collecting most of the tissue, it can be adjusted to 15 mm to protect areas behind the lesion, such as large blood vessels or the chest wall.
Status Window
Displays the current state of the device (cocked, uncocked, or firing).
High Speed
The powerful spring system enables rapid needle movement, resulting in excellent core sample outcomes. Even small and difficult lesions can be accurately punctured.
High Spring Preload
Ensures that the cutting cannula has sufficient power to close the tissue notch cleanly and completely cut the tissue at the end of the biopsy procedure.
3D Rotation Loop of Cannulas
For optimal biopsy quality.
Trocar Tip (for BIP EvoCore® EC-T):
The optimized trocar tip (BIP-Wing-Tip-Trocar) facilitates tissue penetration and significantly increases target accuracy while preserving biopsy quality. Excellent results are achieved using the semi-automatic mode of the system.
BIP-EVOCORE® EC BIOPSY NEEDLES
Including Guide Cannula

- EvoCore® EC Biopsy Needle: Standard beveled edge needle, including guide cannula for secure needle loading.

EvoCore® EC-T Biopsy Needle: With optimized trocar tip (BIP-WingTip-Trocar), including guide cannula for secure needle loading.

BIP-COAXIAL CC Cannula
For EvoCore®EC and HistoCore®HC
BIP-COAXIAL CC Cannula for EvoCore®EC and HistoCore®HC
Supports the recovery of soft tissue samples for diagnosis through histological analysis of anomalies. The BIP-coaxial CC cannula acts as a guide for multiple biopsies within the same organ with reduced lesion. It consists of two parts: an outer cannula with a plastic handle and an inner stylet with an extremely sharp and symmetrical trocar tip. The BIP-coaxial CC cannula is specifically designed to be used with the BIP-EvoCore®EC and BIP-HistoCore®HC systems, offering the following advantages:
- Minimal lesion.
- Rapid repositioning of a lesion.
- Minimal risk of cellular displacement.
- Easy penetration into dense tissue due to a special edge.
BIP-MAM-O-GUIDE®
For preoperative breast marking.

Ring anchor
When the marking wire is pushed out of the cannula, a ring-shaped anchoring element emerges that allows for optimal anchoring in the tissue.
Position stability in the tissue
The ring anchor also prevents the marking thread from accidentally sliding too deep into the fabric.
Double helix design
The marking wire is designed as a double helix (including the ring element). This allows for optimized visibility of the entire wire using ultrasound.
Twisted construction protects the wire from accidental cuts.
Palpable markings on the front of the ring anchor allow the operator to readily expand the incision.
Minimal risk of injury
When applying the marking wire (sliding it out of the cannula), the anchoring element takes the form of a ring, with the tip of the wire touching the ring.
This means there are no sharp edges in the fabric that could otherwise cause accidental injury to the operator.
Reposition
In case of incorrect positioning, the marking wire can be retracted into the cannula and the Mam-O-Guide® BIP can be repositioned.
Direction correction
By rotating the application cannula for fine adjustment, the direction of the annular element can be determined before the wire is pushed out.
BIP-O-TWIST Marker
For breast tissue marking – universal and precise tissue marking.
BIP-O-TWIST MARKER
For breast tissue marking – for vacuum-assisted biopsy systems.
